ConvergePoint (www.convergepoint.com) is looking for a Content Writer to join our marketing team. The responsibilities would be to create marketing contents and collaterals to support all our marketing and sales functions. This role need to collaborate well and work cross-functionally with marketing, sales and customer success team. This role needs to thoroughly understand on product, value proposition and positioning and create all marketing collaterals to resonate well with the target audience. Need to be well versed in creating topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication. Overall you will be delivering quality marketing collaterals that appeal to our target audiences, attract customers, boost brand awareness and drive demand generation.

Job Responsibilities

• Research industry-related topics and thought leadership contents (combining online sources, interviews, webinars)
• Responsible for regularly updating the content on the company's websites.
• Keep abreast of the latest SEO techniques and practices.
• Developing content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, landing page, webinars and B2B social media channels
• Assisting the marketing team in developing the ad copies for advertising and marketing campaigns to promote our products.

• Revamping existing articles, and blogs to improve readability. Proofread and edit blog posts before publication.
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles for developing marketing collaterals.
• Collaborate with SEO team and understand simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines for creating marketing contents
• Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• In-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content.

Key Skills / Requirements

• Good hand over Content Management System is a plus (preferably Wordpress)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in writing SEO optimized content
• Proven experience as a Content Writer
• Experience doing research using various sources.
• Must have experience writing content for a US based audience.
• Must have excellent communication skills and experience interacting with both Indian and US based teams.
• Confident communicator with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple language.
• Must have excellent skills with Microsoft Office.
• Must have basic graphic design skills to present data in visual formats.
• Any experience with creating walk through videos and screen capture videos is desired.
